Homebuyer Education Classes
All houses need a strong foundation. Likewise, homebuyer eduation will help you create a strong foundation for your homebuying experience. Purchasing a home is one of the most important financial decisions most people make. The homebuyer education classes taught by the NeighborWorks staff will help create a strong foundation for both your homebuying and homeownership experience.
Taking part in one of these classes can help take some of the mystery and stress out of the home buying process, as well as potentially save you time, money, classes and fulfill requirements for Down Payment and Closing Cost assistance through NeighborWorks Green Bay, in addition to fulfilling homebuyer education requirements for loans through other sources, e.g. WHEDA.
The curriculum for our homebuyer education class was developed by NeighborWorks® America. It is approved by the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Homebuyer education classes are offered each month at the NeighborWorks Green Bay facility at 437 S. Jackson Street in Green Bay. Classes are available in English, Spanish, and Hmong. Homebuyer Education is $50 per household payable upon registration online at https://nwgreenbay.neighborworkscompass.org/. This fee includes education, course materials, individual counseling, and Homebuyer Education Certificate upon completion.

The cost for online Homebuyer Education is $125 per household payable upon registration at https://www.ehomeamerica.org/nwgreenbay. this fee includes online education, individual counseling, and Homebuyer Education Certificate upon completion.
